Salary Range: $113,000 - $162,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Cadillac that are seeking Engineering Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution and delivery.
• Implement and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and safety protocols.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to advance manufacturing capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven project management skills with a track record of on-time and on-budget project delivery.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI, automation) in a manufacturing context.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Experience managing projects with external vendors or contractors.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration with engineering workflows.
