Salary Range: $48,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hudsonville that are seeking skilled Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
• Generate and distribute customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collection efforts for overdue accounts.
• Apply customer payments accurately and reconcile daily cash receipts.
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable and receivable.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies accurately.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) specific to manufacturing modules.
• Familiarity with the procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms) and multi-currency transactions.
• Certification in Accounts Payable (e.g., CAPP) or Accounts Receivable (e.g., CARS).
