Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Charlotte, MI
Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Charlotte seeking Bookkeeper / Office Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, for management review.
- Maintain organized physical and digital records for all financial transactions and company documents.
- Oversee general office operations, including supplies management, vendor relations, and facility maintenance.
- Assist with human resources tasks, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external vendors.
- Experience in an office management capacity, including supply management, vendor relations, and administrative support.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and related accounting practices is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) beyond basic data entry.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) for financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience with inventory management processes and related accounting entries.
- Familiarity with manufacturing-specific cost accounting principles.
- Certification in bookkeeping (e.g., CB, CPB) or office administration.
