Quality Technician | Newaygo, MI

Salary Range: $47,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality non-conformances.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
• Document quality data, inspection results, and non-conformance reports accurately.
• Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing) or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance or technician role within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in using metrology tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and interpreting technical drawings (GD&T)
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC)
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues
