Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for customers based on specifications and pricing models.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to determine material and labor costs.
• Utilize ERP and CRM systems to manage quote requests, track progress, and maintain customer records.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding quote status, technical details, and any clarifications needed.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest alternative solutions to optimize quotes.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of product offerings, manufacturing processes, and market pricing.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders while maintaining profitability.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a quoting or estimating role within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and proficiency in calculating costs, margins, and lead times.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear client and internal team interaction.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., CPIM, CSCP)
• Proficiency in a second language
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
