Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allegan that are seeking skilled Production Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to meet output targets and quality standards.
• Develop and implement production schedules and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor production processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies.
• Manage and mentor production staff, including performance evaluations and training.
• Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and quality departments to optimize production flow.
• Analyze production data and generate reports on key performance indicators.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and developing production staff.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control systems (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish)
