Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train shop personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate daily production schedules, allocating resources and materials effectively.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Monitor inventory levels and procure necessary tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures for all manufactured products.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing certification or demonstrated experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for reviewing designs and assisting with fixture creation.
• Experience with preventative maintenance software or systems for tracking equipment upkeep.
• Forklift operator certification and experience with other heavy machinery.
• First Aid/CPR certification with experience as a workplace safety officer.
