Salary Range: $43,000 - $63,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Newaygo seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and components.
• Prepare, pack, and ship finished goods and outgoing materials according to specifications.
• Maintain organized inventory in the warehouse, including proper labeling and storage.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Process shipping and receiving documentation, including BOLs, packing slips, and internal transfer forms.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory reconciliation.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management software
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment; valid certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management
• Forklift certification (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or 5S methodology
• Proficiency in using barcode scanning equipment and software
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs documentation
