Salary Range: $54,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in St. Johns that are seeking Shipping & Receiving Leads. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of shipping and receiving associates, fostering a positive work environment.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with carriers and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the department.
• Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies and issues.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
• Proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, with current certification.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and inventory control.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with shipping and receiving.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems beyond basic data entry (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification for general industry.
• Forklift trainer certification or experience training others on powered industrial trucks.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
