Salary Range: $48,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving clerks, fostering a productive work environment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics to optimize material flow and meet delivery schedules.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the shipping and receiving department.
• Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies or issues as they arise.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems and shipping software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment; certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.
• Proven ability to train and mentor junior shipping/receiving personnel.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs documentation.
