Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Manistee seeking Six Sigma Black Belts who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex Six Sigma Black Belt projects from inception to completion, delivering significant cost savings and process improvements.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members on Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Utilize advanced statistical analysis tools and techniques to identify root causes of defects and variation.
• Develop and implement control plans to sustain process improvements and ensure long-term gains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive cultural change towards continuous improvement.
• Present project progress, results, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive the adoption of Lean principles and practices within manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years directly applying Six Sigma methodologies.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from an accredited organization (e.g., ASQ).
• Demonstrated experience leading and completing multiple complex Six Sigma projects with quantifiable financial impact.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and advanced statistical tools (e.g., DOE, regression analysis).
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their integration with Six Sigma.
• Proven ability to mentor Green Belts and facilitate cross-functional project teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, automation) in a manufacturing context.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies.
• Expertise in advanced statistical software beyond Minitab (e.g., R, Python with statistical libraries).
• Strong background in Lean manufacturing principles and their integration with Six Sigma.
• Certification or practical experience in Change Management methodologies.
