Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and quality.
• Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
• Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
• Forecast inventory needs and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure material specifications are met.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Monitor market trends and commodity prices to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Implement and maintain purchasing policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of cost savings and supplier performance improvement
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and purchasing software
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
