Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Ludington that are seeking Quality Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Lead and manage the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee and conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) processes, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformances and customer complaints.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to integrate quality into all stages of product development and manufacturing.
- Manage supplier quality programs, including qualification, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing methodologies.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems, including auditing and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop quality teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficient in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality analysis tools.
Bonus Qualifications
- ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM/OE) or other relevant ASQ certifications.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with ISO 13485 or other industry-specific quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Bilingual in a relevant language for the manufacturing workforce.
