Salary Range: $56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Grand Rapids region seeking Industrial Electricians. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including motors, transformers, and control panels.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions using schets, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
• Calibrate and adjust electrical instruments and equipment to meet operational specifications.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and electrical codes during installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute electrical tasks accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification.
• 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, motor controls, and HMI systems.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics and automated manufacturing systems.
• Demonstrated ability to program PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMIs.
• Certification in thermography or other predictive maintenance technologies.
• Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
