Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment for production.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Create and maintain detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and materials to improve manufacturing capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing layouts and tooling.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience implementing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing processes, such as machining, assembly, welding, and automation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong project management skills.
• Knowledge of robotics or automation systems.
