Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Lansing that are seeking skilled Field Service Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues in production machinery.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Calibrate and test equipment to meet specified performance standards.
• Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on equipment operation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards during all service operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming
• Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management
• Certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Prior experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives
