Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor fabrication team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Plan, schedule, and assign fabrication tasks to meet production deadlines and customer specifications.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of fabrication equipment, ensuring proper functionality and calibration.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide fabrication processes.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures for all fabricated components and assemblies.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and consumables required for fabrication operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex fabrication issues, optimizing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, STICK) and metal forming processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, foster a positive work environment, and ensure high-quality output.
• Experience with fabrication equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and quality control standards in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Background in welding (MIG, TIG) and/or machining (CNC, manual).
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
