Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train fabrication team members on safety protocols and quality standards.
• Plan and schedule daily fabrication activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fabrication machinery.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide fabrication processes.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure product accuracy and compliance.
• Manage raw material inventory and order supplies to maintain continuous production.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of various welding processes (MIG, TIG, STICK) and metal forming techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train a team of skilled fabricators.
• Experience with quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Familiarity with fabrication machinery, including CNC plasma cutters, press brakes, and shears.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Lean manufacturing certification or proven experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety leadership training.
• Forklift certification and experience operating overhead cranes.
• Welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, D1.2) for various material types.
