Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Jenison seeking Payroll Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Reconcile payroll data and general ledger accounts.
• Manage timekeeping systems and integrate data for payroll processing.
• Administer and process employee benefits deductions and contributions.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and year-end reporting.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and taxes.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar enterprise-level payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including those specific to manufacturing (e.g., shift differentials, overtime calculations).
• Experience with time and attendance systems and their integration with payroll.
• Ability to perform detailed payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies accurately and efficiently.
