Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
• Configure and integrate HMI applications for operator interface and control.
• Perform electrical schematic review and provide input for control system design.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to define system requirements and optimize performance.
• Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality and safety.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel on PLC systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram programming languages.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex PLC programs and industrial control systems.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA and HMI development
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) for data acquisition and analysis
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols beyond standard PLC (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT)
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in automation
• Experience with robotic integration and programming
