Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Byron Center seeking PLC Programmers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
- Configure and integrate HMI applications for operator interface.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to define system requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of control system components.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs and control systems.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram programming languages.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development and configuration.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA).
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or C# for data acquisition or analysis.
- Knowledge of robotics programming and integration.
- Certifications in specific PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
