Operations Manager | Holland, MI

Salary Range: $105,000 - $152,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and quality.
• Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors and frontline staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement processes.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and developing production teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation or optimization.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Lean manufacturing certification or extensive experience applying Lean principles.
