Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and testability of new products.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including assembly, test, and automation.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions and process flow diagrams.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for NPI-related issues.
• Lead and participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) reviews.
• Manage and track NPI project timelines and deliverables.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in the NPI process.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to interpret schematics, Gerber files, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and DFM principles.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation and data analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, VBA).
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
