Salary Range: $74,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Newaygo that are seeking skilled Master Schedulers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule, considering capacity, material availability, and customer demand.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and procurement to ensure alignment of the production plan with business objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust production schedules to optimize inventory turns and minimize stockouts.
• Analyze production performance and identify opportunities for schedule improvements and efficiency gains.
• Manage and communicate changes to the production schedule, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate, update, and manage production orders and material requirements.
• Identify and mitigate potential scheduling conflicts and material shortages to maintain production flow.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to optimize production schedules and manage capacity constraints.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and supply chain dynamics.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
