Salary Range: $96,000 - $143,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Norton Shores that are seeking skilled IT Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cybersecurity systems.
• Manage and support all manufacturing-specific software applications and hardware (e.g., MES, SCADA, PLCs).
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, new technology implementations, and infrastructure improvements.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
• Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement of hardware, software, and services.
• Develop and manage the IT budget for the manufacturing facility.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) specific to manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), operational technology (OT), and SCADA systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT infrastructure, network security, and data integrity in a production setting.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and their application to IT processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) in a manufacturing context.
• Knowledge of SCADA, MES, or other shop floor control systems.
• Familiarity with industrial automation, IoT, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or other relevant IT service management or project management methodologies.
