Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Holt that are seeking First Article Inspectors. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive First Article Inspections (FAI) according to AS9102 standards.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure part conformance.
• Utilize a wide range of precision measuring tools and equipment, including CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document detailed inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in inspection reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve discrepancies and improve product quality.
• Verify material certifications and process documentation against engineering requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspection activities and results.
• Identify and recommend improvements to inspection processes and methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Strong understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes and AS9102 or equivalent standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformances accurately.
