Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive First Article Inspections (FAI) according to AS9102 standards.
• Verify dimensional accuracy of components using various metrology tools such as CMM, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure product conformance.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, creating detailed FAI reports.
• Identify and document non-conformances, initiating corrective action requests as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve inspection discrepancies.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection processes and quality control.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Strong understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes and AS9102/PPAP requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformances accurately.
