Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking Finishing Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in finishing operations.
• Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.
• Train new employees on finishing techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment malfunctions or production delays.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, defects, and material usage.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies within the finishing department.
• Optimize workflow and processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a finishing or related manufacturing environment, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of various finishing processes, including but not limited to sanding, polishing, painting, coating, and assembly.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards relevant to finishing operations.
• Experience with quality control methodologies and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize production and resolve issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for production planning and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor less experienced team members.
• Bilingual (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
