Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Manistee seeking First Article Inspectors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
• 3+ years experience in quality inspection, preferably as a First Article Inspector
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications
• Experienced with various precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to document findings accurately

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with various measurement tools beyond CMM (e.g., optical comparators, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges).
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles and their application.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the parts being inspected.
• Ability to use and interpret statistical process control (SPC) data.
