Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Manistee that are seeking skilled Press Operator / Setups. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing presses for production.
• Perform setup and changeover procedures for various press types.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and make adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor machine maintenance.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Familiarity with color matching and quality control tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints
• Forklift certification
