Salary Range: $42,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing presses according to production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform setup, adjustment, and minor maintenance of presses to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and make necessary adjustments to maintain product specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic operational issues and escalate complex problems to supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Press Operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot various types of presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical).
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor maintenance and adjustments on machinery.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance on presses
• Forklift certification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface
