Salary Range: $48,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grandville that are seeking Incoming Inspection Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and sub-assemblies.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately in the quality management system.
• Identify and tag non-conforming materials, initiating the non-conformance process.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality discrepancies.
• Utilize various precision measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Maintain inspection equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience in quality control or manufacturing inspection
• Proficient in using various measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping

Bonus Qualifications

• IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification
• Experience with a CMM or other automated inspection equipment
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T
