Salary Range: $47,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of components and finished products for defects.
• Utilize precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials, initiating appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
• Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections according to established procedures.
• Operate and calibrate various inspection equipment and test instruments.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing inspection
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Familiarity with various inspection tools and metrology equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software for reviewing designs.
• Certification in a specialized inspection method (e.g., CWI, NDT Level I).
• Ability to interpret and apply GD&T principles.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in using statistical analysis software for quality control.
