Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Battle Creek seeking Inspection Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring tools suchs as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process audits.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing quality control or inspection.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., ASQ, NDT)
• Ability to interpret and work with CAD models or technical drawings
• Familiarity with data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) software
• Basic programming skills for automated inspection equipment
