Inventory Control Manager | Hudsonville, MI

Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hudsonville that are seeking skilled Inventory Control Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
• Oversee the accurate tracking and reconciliation of inventory through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend adjustments to production schedules.
• Manage the inventory control team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless material flow and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, turns, and obsolescence.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize inventory control processes.
• Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
