Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Traverse City that are seeking skilled Continuous Improvement Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to optimize production processes.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a sustainable continuous improvement culture across the organization.
• Train and mentor employees at all levels on lean principles, tools, and methodologies.
• Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Standardize best practices and develop robust systems for process control and sustainment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives resulting in measurable improvements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive data-driven decisions.
• Experience with various CI methodologies and tools (e.g., Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S).

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification
• Experience with AI-powered process optimization tools
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and their application in manufacturing
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
