Salary Range: $60,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes for production.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering specifications to ensure part accuracy.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain dimensional tolerances.
• Troubleshoot machine alarms and make minor repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document production and quality data as required.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience operating CNC Swiss Lathes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for program adjustments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., PartMaker, Esprit)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities beyond basic machine operation
• Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and repairs independently
• Background in quality control and inspection, including advanced metrology tools
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
