Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Develops and maintains electrical schematics, documentation, and safety procedures.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new electrical systems and optimize existing ones.
  • Manages electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
  • Conducts root cause analysis for electrical failures and implements corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) for creating and modifying electrical schematics and layouts.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems, PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, and VFDs.
  • Experience with electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA) and their application in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and commission electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial automation and control systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA).
  • Familiarity with robotics and robotic workcell design.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E, UL 508A).
  • Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
