Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Hudsonville seeking EHS Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Lead incident investigations for all EHS-related events, determine root causes, and implement preventative measures.
- Manage hazardous waste programs, ensuring proper handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Oversee the management of industrial hygiene programs, including air quality monitoring, noise assessments, and exposure control.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to integrate EHS considerations into new projects, equipment, and processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are highly preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 implementation and maintenance.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Proficiency in EHS management software (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera).
- Multilingual, particularly in languages relevant to the workforce.
