Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Traverse City that are seeking Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Designs, tests, and commissions electrical systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Develops and maintains electrical schematics, control diagrams, and documentation.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex electrical issues on production lines.
• Implements and optimizes PLC programs for automated manufacturing processes.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
• Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and industry regulations.
• Participates in the selection, installation, and maintenance of electrical components and instrumentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, troubleshooting, and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor controls, and power distribution.
• Experience with robotic systems and automation in a production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics or automation systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
