Salary Range: $76,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, and systems for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery and control systems.
• Develops and implements preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new electrical systems and automation into manufacturing lines.
• Ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E) in all manufacturing operations.
• Optimizes existing electrical systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Creates and maintains detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation for manufacturing equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical).
• Experience with power distribution systems, motor controls, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics or automation systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
• PLC programming proficiency (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• SCADA system design and implementation experience.
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or similar energy efficiency certification.
