Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development to gather market intelligence and incorporate into demand plans.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to improve forecast accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with supply chain to ensure alignment with demand forecasts.
• Identify and mitigate potential demand-supply imbalances through proactive communication and analysis.
• Utilize demand planning software and statistical modeling techniques to generate accurate forecasts.
• Track and report on key demand planning performance metrics, such as forecast accuracy and bias.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends to improve forecast accuracy.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with sales, marketing, and production teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS certification (CSCP or CPIM)
• Experience with an ERP system like SAP IBP, Oracle Cloud SCM, or Kinaxis RapidResponse
• Proficiency in a data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Familiarity with statistical modeling software (e.g., R, Python)
