Customer Service Representative | Montague, MI
Salary Range: $48,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Montague that are seeking Customer Service Representatives. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, order status, and delivery schedules.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, shipping errors, or service issues.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to address customer concerns and expedite solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback within the CRM system.
- Provide customers with information on new products, pricing, and promotional offers.
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Escalate complex customer issues to appropriate internal departments for further investigation and resolution.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with CRM software specific to manufacturing (e.g., Epicor, SAP).
- Familiarity with common manufacturing terms and processes (e.g., BOM, lead time, QC).
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications or product drawings.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing plant or production environment.
- Certification in a relevant area, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
