Salary Range: $71,000 - $105,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard product costs.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) and report on key drivers.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for new products and engineering changes.
• Support inventory valuation and reconcile physical counts to the general ledger.
• Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, specifically for cost of goods sold.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities across manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with production and supply chain to ensure accurate BOMs and routings.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Advanced Excel modeling skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot
• Certification in relevant areas (e.g., CMA, CSCP)
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles
