Salary Range: $124,000 - $174,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting to safeguard company assets.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to establish financial targets.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and debt to optimize financial resources.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations, including sales, property, and income taxes.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, cost accounting, and budgeting
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Advanced Excel and data modeling skills (e.g., Power Query, Power Pivot)
• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience in a private equity-backed environment
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their financial implications
