Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and validate CMM inspection routines for manufactured components.
• Interpret complex engineering blueprints, GD&T specifications, and CAD models to create effective CMM programs.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process, and final inspections using CMMs and other metrology equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debug CMM programs, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve measurement discrepancies and improve product quality.
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to established standards.
• Document inspection results, program parameters, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and application.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Experience with various CMM hardware and probing systems.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in CMM programming within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and metrology best practices.
