Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration on a wide range of measuring equipment including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, and temperature sensors.
- Document calibration results accurately and maintain detailed records in accordance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 17025, ISO 9001).
- Identify and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, performing minor repairs or coordinating with external service providers as needed.
- Develop and maintain calibration procedures and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Manage calibration schedules and coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.
- Analyze calibration data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement in measurement processes.
- Maintain calibration standards and ensure they are properly handled, stored, and calibrated according to established schedules.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology) or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience performing calibration on various types of measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, including measurement uncertainty and traceability.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
- Experience with calibration software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic electrical and mechanical issues in measurement devices.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
- Proficiency in using calibration management software (e.g., IndySoft, Beamex, Fluke Met/CAL)
- Experience with automated calibration systems or robotics
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., metrology, electronics, instrumentation)
