Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies for raw materials and components.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize cost and quality.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation and contract management.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure timely procurement of materials for manufacturing.
• Analyze market trends and commodity prices to inform purchasing decisions.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a purchasing or buyer role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their application in procurement processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM)
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
