CNC Machinist | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $44,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Whitehall that are seeking skilled CNC Machinists. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code to determine machining operations.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and programming.
• Maintain accurate production records and adhere to all safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code.
• Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong understanding of various cutting tools, materials, and their applications.
• Demonstrated ability to perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with G-code programming and editing.
