Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holt that are seeking skilled Estimators. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for manufacturing projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain and update a database of historical cost data for future estimations.
• Present detailed cost breakdowns and estimates to management and clients.
• Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities related to project costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cost estimating within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and labor costs.
• Experience with estimating software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
